Meet the team
Gordon
Gordon Robson is the owner of Robson Landscaping Ltd and has 20 years of gardening and landscaping experience.
In addition to practical gardening skills Gordon has degrees in Business Management and Civil Engineering. Having worked as an intelligent transport systems consultant and a software development manager Gordon has returned to landscaping full of enthusiasm and plans for how landscaping and garden maintenance can be delivered.
Gordon's primary objective for each job that he undertakes is that every customer receives an excellent service which delivers a product to the agreed specification, timescales and budget.
Bob
Bob started his work career as a draftsman before joining the police service in 1983. In 2013 Bob retired from the police after 30 years of service and now works for Robson Landscaping as a specialist deck and fence builder.
Bob is a friendly, hardworking and reliable tradesman with an eye for detail. Customers often comment on the lengths Bob goes to when crafting their decks to millimetre precision.
Bob usually accompanies Gordon when visiting customers for the first time. This not only allows customers to meet him before he starts work in their garden but also stimulates discussion around materials, fence and deck styles and construction methods.
Derek
Derek joined Robson Landscaping in April 2016 and has been involved in almost all our large landscaping projects over the summer.
Derek is a trained cabinet maker and very much enjoys working on fences, decks and railway sleeper retaining walls. He also teams up with Bob for maintenance jobs.
Derek has always been a keen gardener and on the weekends he loves to work in his own garden. When Derek works in your garden you can be rest assured that you are in capable hands.
David
David joined the team at the beginning of the summer having worked in retail for 10 years. He has always wanted to work outside and when the company was set up he jumped at the chance to get involved.
David is extremely hard working and is learning quickly about all aspects of landscaping.
It would be true to say that David is highly trustworthy and conscientious and a great ambassador for the company.
